Next Android – myTouch 3G

The next Android phone to launch in the United States is all set to be the HTC Magic branded as myTouch 3G. This is the second phone release from HTC. HTC has capitalised on Android more than any other manufacturer we can think of. Two successive phone releases from a major device manufacturer! Thats indeed something to be proud of.

Probably in todays touch economic times, HTC is perhaps the only company to get a boost out of it, all in the name of Google’s Android. Even Nokia is feeling the crunch.

We’ve covered how HTC Magic looks like and there are many video reviews out there. Cupcake is one selling point that Magic will come preloaded with.

The ‘thing’ to observe now, is, how does myTouch3G go up against Palm’s Pre with a very colory flashy new interface WebOS and iPhone 3G[s]. Google has been developer friendly, how would it draw attention from major developers to build on Android? While Android Developer Challenge does a pretty decent job, its obviously not enough!
