Its been a while we didnt report on new upcoming devices. Samsung and HTC are spearheading the Android challenge, where analysts are predicting a lead three years later.
Samsung i7500 – to hit Europe this June.
Samsung is the second company to launch an Android device. The hardware is pretty impressive. The device looks sleek. Its what most people are looking for. But lacks a qwerty keyboard. Nevertheless, a good launch!
Samsung started the trend of sleek thin mobilephones. And it sure looks like it delivered with Android this time.
HTC Magic is all set to roll out in Europe, Asia. Asian release of HTC Magic is a little different. There wont be a Google stamp on it. Which means, I’m guessing, there wont be any need to sign-in into a gmail account – Less dependence on Google is always welcome. And maybe, just maybe, Asian HTC Magic will be sold separately – unlocked!

It’s going to be very interesting to see how well this phone fares. A common criticism of the HTC models released so far is the lack of 3.5 inch audio jack, which, as you’ve correctly pointed out, has been included in this model.
