Any device that can mobilise the crowd and money in these tough economic times is indeed Google’s Android. Vodafone has grabbed the exclusive rights to carry HTC’s next Android phone – “Magic“. An official announcement is expected later today at MWC 09.
Vittorio Colao, the Vodafone chief executive, confirmed this morning that the mobile network operator had secured the rights to supply Taiwanese manufacturer HTC’s new G2 smartphone. It will be called the HTC Magic, and Vodafone will sell it exclusively in Europe for a limited period – the Guardian
Very clever vodafone! very clever. Its great to be the second carrier of HTC’s next. In other words, G2 will have many gliches resolved. It appears to be less bulky, less awkward than G1 and ofcourse come with the latest update patch from Google.
Engadget got their hands on beauty!
Engadget points out that this isnt the finaly hardware. There are some variations between the prototypes demoed. But what we’re to notice is the slim form factor. Minimalist organic design. Just what we wanted!
