Wifi Application: TruPhone Anywhere now available on Android
A new application has been added to the Android Market US and UK called TruPhone Anywhere. Here’s what it does:
Truphone enables Wi-Fi-enabled mobile phones to make/receive regular telephone calls and to send/receive SMS text messages using only a Wi-Fi connection and the internet. It has already attracted many tens of thousands of users in 149 countries. Truphone is the trading name of Software Cellular Network Limited (SCN). SCN is privately owned, funded by both venture capital investment and angel investors.
Thats a great addition to the Android Applications.
This is a great add-on especially to users travelling abroad or who make international calls. Theres nothing like making cheap calls in this time of eco crisis! More information on this will be when we test and add it to our Database.

Truphone is working good, I hope the other VoIP like Vopium.com and Jajah.com, will also come up with compatible app for android.

@ Shweta I have recently got alert from Vopium that they have released their andriod client so more and more players are coming into Andriod market.
