A new lawsuit is soon to be filed with the Federal Trade Commision by Jeffery Chester, Center for Digital Democracy and US Public Interest Research Group. Those are some big allies against Android and other mobile ops. Other companies listed apart from Google, Nokia, Yahoo!, AT&T, Verizon.
Here’s a quote published Forbes that says it all..when talking specifically about our alien androiod
Google’s Android is a sleeping giant, People don’t really understand what’s about to emerge: A new kind of data collection and advertising, with huge implications for privacy.
He further talks about downloaded Cookies on Android that Google might have access and gain the browsing history/pattern of the end user. Android and Google Maps go hand-in-hand, Android can triangulate the position of the user via calculating the distance from nearest Cellular base stations or just use Global positioning system – GPS. According to Chester, Google will have the ability to assemble profiles of users which includes their physical activity.
At the moment there are no signs of privacy violations from Android – Google. There was with Chrome address bar transferring data to Google Suggest. Some would argue that’s not a violation whilst some like us continue to say that it could be. 2009 will mark Android’s consolidation and enhance Google’s reach at an unimaginable pace. We’ve seen so many Android devices being launched which are mostly the lesser_known companies. Think about the time when the Big manufacturers like Sony Ericsson, Samsung, LG, put their android phones on the table. Hence Android’s global presence perhaps even domination in the next two years wont be surprising. Taking these future predictions into account, its imperative that we as end-users be concerned about our Privacy.
We all know the open secret, Android’s gonna generate revenues for Google through Advertising. The farther its reach, more the revenue. Google is about good corporate governance. It’ll be interesting to see how its gonna tackle this lawsuit which is more speculative of the future.
Convergence is the new mantra in technology. Mobile phones will be a significant requirement of our lives ( if its not already). While we ( iMAndroid ) support Android immensely, we also believe in keeping tabs. Like an opposition is crucial in monitoring every move of the government in a democratic country, such lawsuits are surely in our interest.

Backlinks can become a worthwhile aspect as well as aid with off site online marketing. Have you ever seen high pr links cause a harmful affect on rankings? And do you know if there is a method to reveal when pay per click is better than natural SEO? I myself manage numerous ventures and even own a links building service. Even so, I at times find it useful to use pay per click compared to natural link building.
