Hackers inspire Asus to make Android devices?
Asus’s Johnny Shih, CEO, has commented on the prospect of having Android on their devices namely the “Eee Branded Phone” speaking to the guys at TechRadar. Devices that can be …
put in the pocket, play MP3s, offer GPS services, works like a PDA and offers Mobile TV altogether,
Wow, thats a clean response from Asus. Obviously they’re aware of the what the hack community has been able to achive with Asus Eee PC running Android and the excitement that its generated.
Android may well be on its way to kinda replace big brother Linux on many devices, not just mobile devices. Netbooks, PDAs, standalone GPS are probably the potential expansion targets and Mobiles are only the beginning. To get achieve that kind of leverage Android’s gotto do a hell-u-va lot more.
Enormous support from 3rd party developers will ofcourse hold the key. Google will also need to tag along, not that it isnt now, but more so in the future. Add support to most forms of hardware etc.
Its great that Android’s generating alot of Buzz considering theres only one phone out there right now.. G1!

Hello, just stopped by doing some research for my Asus website. Can’t believe the amount of information out there. Looking for something else, but very nice site. Take care.
Among me and my husband we’ve owned more MP3 gamers around the many years than I can count, such as Sansas, iRivers, iPods (traditional & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, and many others. But, the final handful of years I’ve settled down to a single line of gamers. Why? Because I was happy to find how very well-developed and fun to use the underappreciated (and broadly mocked) Zunes are.
