Modified RC30 update [crack?]

The famed RC30 update from Google released to patchup the recent Jailbreak and “reboot” bug is claimed to be “modified” . JesusFreke is the guy from XDA-Developers has modified RC30 Update to retain the root access.

I couldn’t seem to get a modified “patch” version of the update to install, but once I was able to get the full update, I modified it and it installed onto the phone without a problem. The full update should be *much* less troublesome for everyone. You should be able to apply it no matter what RC you are on. But you must have the modified recovery image installed, of course.
